DC’s Got It Going On: We Don’t Need Big Tax Incentives to Attract Businesses

DC has become a magnet for a young and increasingly skilled workforce that gives businesses a large pool of talent to tap and support a thriving restaurant and retail sector. That’s why Mayor Bowser’s $60 million proposed tax break for the Advisory Board Company- one of DC’s largest corporate subsidies in recent memory- doesn’t make sense.
