The DC Fiscal Policy Institute (DCFPI) is honored to be accepted into Spur Local’s Class of 2025 (formerly the Catalogue for Philanthropy), a recognition of its commitment to critical impact and strengthening the broader nonprofit ecosystem.
Alongside 143 organizations, DCFPI joins a distinguished cohort of nonprofits driving meaningful change across the National Capital Region. Spur Local selected its 2025 class through a rigorous selection process, engaging nearly 150 local volunteers to review applications, conduct financial assessments, and perform site visits to ensure each organization demonstrates strong impact and value.
“We are honored to join Spur Local’s incredible network,” said executive director Erica Williams. “This partnership enables us to strengthen efforts in support of our mission and to broaden our reach and impact.”
Over the past two decades, Spur Local has raised $57 million for nonprofits and trained over 20,000 nonprofit professionals through its capacity-building programs. By joining their prestigious catalog, DCFPI gains access to a vibrant community of small, but influential organizations and a unique opportunity to increase visibility with potential donors and volunteers on their website.
