Investments in children provide opportunity.
An educational system that levels the playing field is the key to unlocking opportunities for all students and for reducing income inequality in the long run. DCFPI works to make sure all families have access to high-quality early care and education options during the critical developmental stage from birth to age three. DCFPI also advocates for more strategic investments in both DC Public Schools and Public Charter Schools to ensure every student in the District receives a quality education that will prepare them for adulthood.
