What Do District Residents Think about How DC Should Tax and Spend?

The July column highlights the results of a poll commissioned by DCFPI during this spring to gauge public sentiment on critical budget issues facing the city.  It found that DC residents strongly prioritize preserving public services over keeping taxes down, and that residents are willing to pay more in taxes to help maintain funding for education, public safety and social services.
