How to Make Sure a DC United Stadium Is a Win for the District

A new soccer stadium for DC United is exciting news for many of us in the Washington region.  But is the proposed deal good for DC residents?  With $150 million in subsidies, risks of cost overruns, and plans to sell valuable DC assets such as the Reeves Center, DC’s leaders should take their time to make sure that getting a soccer stadium is good for everyone — DC United and DC residents.
