DCFPI Welcomes Our Summer Interns!

The DC Fiscal Policy Institute is excited to have two interns join our team this summer — please join us in welcoming Jimmy and Thu!

Jimmy GastnerJimmy Gastner, a rising senior at Swarthmore College, recently joined the DCFPI as a summer intern. At Swarthmore, Jimmy studies economics and political science and serves as a captain on the men’s lacrosse team. While at the DCFPI this summer, Jimmy will work on projects that involve comparing the property taxes paid by residents of the District to surrounding areas as well as collecting and analyzing data about the use of ESA service centers. After graduation, he hopes to find a career in public policy focusing on legislation that pertains to health care or income inequality.
