Get Ready for School Budget Advocacy! A Forum on DCPS Spending Priorities for Next Year

Decisions that will affect funding for your child’s school next year are already starting this fall — are you ready?

On October 28th, the Senior High Alliance of Parents, Principals, and Educators (S.H.A.P.P.E) and DCFPI will host an event to help the community learn more about — and weigh in on — DC Public Schools’high school kids in line funding priorities next school year. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Nathaniel Beers, Chief Operating Officer for DCPS. The event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at Luke C. Moore Academy (1001 Monroe St NE, Washington, DC 20017).
